Flying monkeys live in my closet
How was everyone's Memorail Day weekend? Mine was good. Seattle got off early from work on Friday afternoon. So, Seattle and Tall Johnny and I went out and enjoyed a nice luch at the China Queen. Their buffet from 11am-3pm is so good. So much stuff to choose from. We then, headed out and enjoyed a nice car ride around the city of Raleigh and Tall Johnny took us to see some houses for sale. Then we went to the Thrift Store. This place is so much better then Good-will. Their prices are really cheap and they have a bunch of cool stuff. Who knew you could buy a couch for almost $10.00? They also have clothes for men, women and children. Why go to the mall and buy a pair of jeans for $30.00 when you can buy them for $2.00. I'm telling you its the best. Saturday, Seattle and I had a down day which consisted of just relaxing at North Hills Mall people watching. I love down days like that. You sleep in and just chill out the rest of the day. Sunday, we headed over to Seattle's mom's house and hung out with her and relaxed on her new Mother's Day swing. That thing is so comfortable. It even falls out to a bed so when you feel like taking a nap, just fold and lay right down. We also met up with Seattle's younger sister Theresa and her daughter Megan to have dinner. We ended up going to the Remington Grill to have their all you can eat ribs. We then headed back home and just did some more relaxing and called it a weekend. Monday, Tall Johnny, Seattle and I met up at Tall Johnny's house to go disc golfing. Tall Johnny introduced us to his friend Donnie who is really cool. As the guys played golf, I normally walk around and take pictures just to see how my picture taking can be. I'm not that good but I feel like I am getting better. Seattle and I then went to the mall to buy a pair of Converse shoes. It seems that they have these limited time only Kurt Cobain Converse shoes. They are only making three pair. I ordered a pair of white low top converse shoes that have Kurt's pictures and scribbles on it when he wrote in his journal. The other two pair are black high tops. One of them are a pair of worn out black ones when Kurt used to wear them. The other pair are just a pair of plain black that have the lyrics of Lihium on them. Other then that, I had a pretty productive weekend. Now the hard part is getting back into the grind of things when you have to go back to work. Ugh, when will it ever end!
